Venus Pearl Cuff, Black/White from The Met Museum

Our chic Venus Pearl Cuff features alluringly mismatched black and white glass pearls and 18K gold-plated brass. It adds a Baroque accent to an everyday work outfit, or a stands out on a special occasion. The lustrous black glass pearl varies in luminosity and will appear different depending on the light. Classic yet functional, this cuff will be a staple of your wardrobe for years. Our Venus Pearl Collection is adapted from adornments worn by the Roman goddess of love in Venus in Front of a Mirror, a famous painting by Peter Paul Rubens (Flemish, 1577-1640). In the painting, Venus wears nothing but a bracelet and a pair of pearl teardrop earrings-one of the earrings is white, and the other, reflected in a mirror, appears black. Produced in cooperation with the Princely Collections of Liechtenstein.
